Robert's Story
Life -
I attended SDSU for four years after high school--last three as drum major of their marching band. Went to Hawaii to surf and finish up college. Was drum major of their marching band for two years. I graduated with a degree in Ethnomusicology. Played bassoon in Honolulu Symphony for 8 years and went on to compose and perform--principally for dance and theatre, flute, keyboard, and percussion instrumental, new classical, ethnically informed works. wo children--daughter 38 and son 32. Divorced,...met current wife, Sandra, in Spain while performing at Expo in Seville in '92. To grad school in 95 for counseling psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara and moved from Honolulu to Portland, ME in '97. We have a 14 year old daughter, Kai, who is indeed the center of the universe. I am a psychotherapist in private practice. Still surf after all of these years. I miss Hawaii, but then wouldn't anybody.
