Robert J's Story
After graduating from RO Kimball I was registered to start at McComb Community Collage the following year but I received my draft notice and decided to join the US NAVY rather than go into the US ARMY. After serving 4 years as a ADJ-2 jet mechanic spending 16 months on Aircraft Carriers in the Gulf of Tonkin in Vietnam in support of our troops on the ground I decided to leave the US NAVY.
I went to McComb Community college for 2 year then transferred to Wayne State University and received a degree in business administration. I got married June 19th 1971 to Patricia Manik we have two children Sharon DeVries who works for Ameriprise Financia...Expand for more

I was working for Great Lakes Mushroom for several years while going back to Wayne State University to get my MBA in marketing after graduation i went to work for PPG INDUSTRIES in 1982 in market development for phosphate & electrocoat products for automotive OEM & aftermarket products to support the OEM markets.
I retired from PPG Industries in 2008 and I’m enjoying my retirement.
In retirement Pat & I have been able to visit 47 of our National Parks & 27 National Lake Shores.
