Robert's Story
Married and divorced; received an AAS in Computer Aided Drafting & Design and an ASS in Electronics and need 8 credits to complete a Journalism degree, lived in California for 9 years; my mom & dad are still alive, dad is 92, mom is 85; Love New England, Vermont & Maine the best and Tennessee; Dogs are #1; Like my Jeep, canoe, all wildlife, the environment which mankind in general is destroying; dislike drunks and people that don't take responsibility for their own mistakes with a passion; want the death penalty added for individuals that prey on / molest children and those that commit cruelty to animals.
It is now 2012 and I am still hanging in there. Dad passed away last year .......he was 96 and I miss him dearly. A couple of years ago, my "fur" daughter Keri (b...Expand for more
lack Lab) passed, she was 15+ and I adopted Gretchen (Chocolate Lab) who is a "Katrina Dog". She won't go outside in the rain unless I go ut with her. She is my constant companion and co-pilot.......loves to ride in my Jeep, especially when I put the top down.
As for me, I had a kidney transplant in 1998 and it is working well. Became a certified dog trainer in 2011. Volunteer time at the Animal Rescue League where I teach obedience; do home inspections for potential adopters with the American Lab Rescue Group. I teach puppy obedience classes from time to time. More people should follow the way dogs live and the world would be a better place. Also doing some renovation stuff.........just finished the kitchen, starting on dining room.....with the living room to follow.
