Robert's Story
Life
Got a degree in Music Ed at Glassboro State and taught at Clearview JHS (68-69).Drafted ino the Army (69-70) and then took a band position at Pitman HS. Moved to elementary band after 5 years (yay!) and retired from that position 1/1/01 after 31 years.. 2x divorced, no children. Have had many experiences ranging from owning horses to lworking for a moving company, lifeguard, forest fire service, chimney sweeping, massage/body work and movie background artiste (an extra) in four movies so far. Have stayed involved in playing music since 1960. Still read a lot, but not much fiction; real life is much more interesting! Am very involved in history (thanks Jim Van Zoeren) and foiunded, directed and played in a civil war reenactor brass band )as well as doing the shooting end of the hobby. rals".)Travel - mostly to Canada - and STILL build models. Am a band music arranger (American School Music Institute My bro Tom died March 31, 1972. Some may remember my grandmother Martha "Miss Dot" LaVigne who drove for Selby's Bus Service in Almonesson and pased January 12, 1992.My Dad just passed May 14 '02. Mom passed August 14,2008. Joined the Coast Guard Auxiliary after getting a 17' sailboat and lost 120 lbs from Aug 2006 to Aug 2007(on purpose.)after getting back to my sr. year of HS weight I found it wasn't healthy and put back 40 or so. I feel better at about 200.
I just survived a horrific crash August 20,2009, and am recuperated. No deaths or major injuries.
