Robert's Story
After leaving SUDBURY HIGH IN 1970 mainly because they didn't produce a football team I went over to Tech to finish my grade 13 and played football for Tech as an offensive halfback. I tore my legiments in my right knee in a game against ST-CHARLES.The knee injury has been a source of trouble all my life.
After graduating from TECH I cantinued working at Canadian Tire IN New Sudbury until I left for the R.C.M.P. ON THE 4TH OF febuary 1972. I trained in Regina Saskatchewan for 6 months and was transferred to St- Jerome Quebec for 8 months.I was then transferred to Montreal where I worked in customs for two years.
I got married in OCT 1975.
I went on to work in Commercial fraud in 1976 and got a B-COMM degree from Concordia in 1981.

mercial crime section (Délits commerciaux in French)I worked all the different departments special investigtions,bankruptcy,computer crime
etc....until 1988.
Then I worked in a section which handled legal matters against the force fo a year.
In 1990 I worked for our division as a accounting support and in 1991 worked in computer crime section until 1993.
Was an analyst from 1993 to 1996.
In 1996 assisted in computer searches and support to all investigators major files.I retired on 26 Sept 2005.
I have lived in la Belle Province all my life and this is where I feel most comfortable because of my french roots.
I do miss friends from Sudbury since it is my place of birth and where I WAS BROUGHT UP.Today I speak more french then I do english and I am very content with that.
