My youth started at good ole' 2050 Vermont St. Gary,Indiana.
Drew,William Elementary,Dunbar Pulaski,and The Velt(respectfully)I miss all of you...I grew up in Gary,In.My teen years I grew up in Collierville off Hy.57/196 in Piperton. Fayette Ware 1983(Football) and Memphis State University (Football) !!!!!!
I am a 13yrs.Cancer survivor in remision and recovering Alcoholic/Cocaine addict of 10+yrs. BY THE GRACE(EXTENDED MY TIME HERE ON EARTH)AND MERCY(PROTECTION OF GOD)OF A LOVING GOD AND HIS SON JESUS. Who has Blessed me with a nice mini condo downtown.From living in cardboard box in exchange for an Attitude of Gratitude to help other recoverers just like me!!!THERE IS TRULY AN AMAZING GOD! I just can't regret what I've been through in my life, but what I do today is COUNT IT ALL JOY WITH GOD!

I try to keep it real and simple One Day at a Time with The Good Lord's help!!! I truly miss both my set of parents(adopted and biological)Christmas time gets kind of emotional for me cause my father's birthday was on the 22 of December...A few years ago one of my baby brothers and I found him dead on his bathroom floor(to us he seemed to look as though he was just sleeping)a few days before his birthday and we put him to rest on my birthday,so can you imagine how hurt I was and am at this time of the year. If anything could have led me back to drinking or using that would have had to be it...Glory be to a Loving GOD/Jesus Who Blessed me with the Comfort/Peace to go through... I guess you can see how I feel at this time of the year...
