Robert's Story
I spent four years in the Marine Corps stationed at Cherry Point, N.C. I was an aviation electrician Tech. working on F4 phantoms, A6 intruders and F3 sky hawks. I inspected all the squadrons planes for safety. Without my stamp of approval it didn't get off the ground. No over seas duty.. Both my girls were born at the base Hospital. I've been to California, both Carolina's and Florida, during my tour of duty.
I have seen most of the US with my travels. The only section of the US I haven't seen is the upper west states and the far Eastern states. I spent 15 years working at the Flushing Post Office then 26 years in Bloomington, Indiana where I retired in Februar...Expand for more
y, 2007!! I'm a grandpa of two, Autumn (5) and Hayden(2). I have the joy of watching them grow as I take care of them three days a week out here in beautiful Boulder, CO.
I sing with the Longs Peak Barbershop chorus in Longmont, CO. A membership of 56 men. We are currently champions of our plateau for our district. I'm also singing in my choir choir. I sing bass in both. I'm an auditor for the church.
I have traveled to England and was part of the 75th anniversary of D-Day celebration in Normandy, France in 2019. I was able to sing with my Chorus on Omaha Beach. I walked to the Eiffel Tower from my hotel room in Paris while being part of the 75th celebration.
