Robert (Ray)'s Story
I lived in Virginia Beach from 1982-1988. Sadly being in a military family, I lost the last 2 years, I still consider Kellam, my High School. That's where my memories are. Principle Peele once told me, Once a Knight, always a Knight. I went to Green Run Elementary, Princess Anne Jr High, and Kellam High... Those were the Best Years of my life :). I live in Wisconsin now. Was in the US Army and now I teach Military History... I have a 16 yr old daughter... I would love to catch up with my friends I left behind... eriot, and Kenny Fabian... My 2 favorite teachers were Mr. Vanture and Mr. Slavinsky... I have traveled to Europe and have been all over England.. I had the biggest Crush with April Watkins since I met her in 9th grade at Princess Anne Jr High. I have been back a couple times to walk the halls in 2002 and 2008. It's amazing how memories flow when you find your old classes and sit at the desks and relive the fun times with your friends.. Kellam has a new state of the art building and I was fortunate enough to walk the grounds with my daughter, while I showed her my stomping grounds of my teen years.
