Robert's Story
College
I started out at Kauai community college getting a two year degree in Liberal Arts in 1983 - but kept taking classes until 1985. I spent some time in the Army, then went back to school. In 1991 I started on an EE degree at the University of Missouri in Rolla Missouri. logy. In 1996 I started medical school at the University of Missouri in Colmubia. I graduated in 2000 and moved to Hawaii to complete my training in Internal Medicine at Tripler Army Medical Center. In 2003 I moved to San Antonio Texas to train in Infectious Disease at Brook army Medical Center. After completing the ID fellowship in San Antonio we moved to Maryland in 2006. I hope to get back to Hawaii some day.
