Robert's Story
Life
My Spouse
We met at a party during our Freshman year in college. Two guys got in a fight, she accidentally got doused with a drink, and I came to her rescue. We were engaged 3 years later, married a yer after that (after graduating college) and have ben married since 1980.
My Vocation
After five years of study and preparation, on June 3, 2011, I was ordained a Deacon in the Roman Catholic Church and am serving the people of the Archdiocese of Las Vegas.
My Pets
We lost our two cats, Roxanne and Snoop 18 and 21 respectively) in 2024. In late 2024 we adopted Violet, a domestic longhair.
My Kids
Rob excelled in music, and graduated from the Las Vegas Academy for the visual and performing arts, and attended UNLV. He and his wife, Jenn, live in Phoenix, He now runs his own audio/sound/lighting company, Crucial Productions. Rob and Jenn's wedding was June 13, 2009. Two children, Robbie and Evelyn.
Tim is a graduate of Philadelphia University with a degree in Architecture. He married Jenn Hart, who owns her own marketing firm, and live in Collingswood NJ. Tim is an architect for a firm in Philly.
Andrew, graduated from College of Southern Nevada and UNLV. He works in convention services at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

nd served with companies in a variety of industries on improving their operations and/or their internal audit function. My work with MGM and PwC has taken me around the world. For work I have been to Russia, Hungary, England, France, Germany, Canada, Costa Rica, Aruba, Curaçao, Venezuela, Argentina, Thailand, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Australia, China, Macau, Singapore, Japan, Taipei, Dubai and Puerto Rico.
College
Attended Castleton State College from 1976 to 1980 when I graduated with two degrees: one in art and one in accounting.
In 1994 I resumed my studies at Glassboro State College, which then became Rowan University of NJ by graduation day in 1997, where I earned an MBA.
Workplace
after college I worked a summer at Ford Scott & Associates in Ocean City NJ. I joined Harrah's that September as an internal auditor, advancing to Internal Audit manager over 5 1/2 yers. In 1986 I moved from Harrah's to the Trump Plaza as Director of Internal Audit. In 1989 I was asked to move to the Trump Taj Mahal in the same position to help them open the property. A few years later I was promoted to the new position of Corporate Director of Internal Audit, where I remained until Jan 1998. I then joined PricewaterhouseCoopers as Director of Internal Audit Services and moved to the Las vegas area.
In 2003 I left PwC to join MGM MIRAGE, now MGM Resorts, as Vice President of Internal Audit. And later promoted to Senior Vice President.
