Robert's Story
Been a long time since Denton!
Joined the Navy (ours) in December 61. To my surprise Earnest Pickle from Denton was in my navy school unit.
Served in a Fighter Unit in Key West, FL where we repelled the Cubans.
Served as Air Crewman in an Airborne Communications unit to relay radio messages from Washington to Missile Submarines in the Atlantic or wherever they were.
Got married to a gal from Fort Worth that I met at North Texas University.
Worked for Braniff Airlines as an Aircraft Mechanic till it closed.
Got divorced and married a Flight Attendant from South America.
Spent two years working as Medical X-ray field service tech in the Dallas area.
Joined the new Braniff as Manager of Quality Control Departmen...Expand for more

Left Braniff II as VP Technical Services to work as VP Tech. Services for a new Japanese Aircraft Leasing Company in New York City till 1996 (Imagine A good old boy from Denton in a place like that!).
Moved to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) IN CHICAGO, IL. as Airline Inspector till retirement in Jan. 2010.
Moved to an ocean view home in Lima, Peru to enjoy retirement.

Just think this adventure all started with Denton Senior High School and friends like Tony Lewis,
