Robert's Story
I'm a physicist at Los Alamos Ntl. Lab, so it's not like I actually work for a living. But even though I don't work, I work quite hard at it. Lately, for example, I've been applying field theory to plasma physics problems with some success. Before that I did particle theory and early universe cosmology, with a bit of lattice QCD on the side,

erence in Italy going on twelve years now, and we have two children (one of them born in Egypt no less), Max and Emma (the picutre is really outdated). Both kids like Spoon, and Emma is a real fan of the Ramones, and so Hope is passed to the next generation. I've lived all over the place since leaving TN: Kentucky, Baltimore, Stanford and the Bay Area, Boston, Seattle, Cairo (Egypt not Kentucky), and now the South West. I also get to travel a lot with my job.
