Robert's Story

After graduating from St Bride in 1966 I went to Mt. Carmel HS til my junior year and them moved to Darien, IL and graduated from Hinsdale South HS. From 1970-74 I served in the US Air Force as a Sgt. I then joined the University of Chicago Police Dept and worked every job from dispatcher to Deputy Chief for 25 years. arried (47 yrs) to my wife Mary Lou with one son (lawyer) and two grand daughters 8 and 6. We live in Dyer, IN (suburb S of Chicago). St Bride School was closed and sold to Chicago Public Schools about 15 years ago as a small school. The Church was closed and put up for sale a few years ago but I'm not sure if it was sold. Mike Hayes and Chuck Dohman died in accidents years ago and Bob Spurlock (65) died two years ago. Best wishes to you all! Bob
