Robert's Story
I think we all look back and see how we could have made high school a better time so I won't even go there.
After graduation, I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Great move for me at the time for sure. I ended up getting out after 10 years as an E-6 Staff Sergeant. By that time, I had visited 22 countries and 35 states of the United States. I did so much during that time I can't even remember it all. For the most part, I was an Avionics Supervisor, Quality Assurance Supervisor, Material/Maintenance Controller, and Electrical Engineer on the AV8B Harrier "Jump-Jet" (the one that hovers).
After that, I ended up working two years for the Hunt Brothers construction company as a Quality Control Specialist on two $12-million military base housing construction contracts. The same Hunt Brothers that monopolized the silver market, the trucking company, and the (Hunt) ketchup.

My next move was joining the California Highway Patrol (CHiPs). I served as an Officer and enjoyed providing safety, service, and security to the people of California. I could go on with a million cool stories here, but I'll save those for a future reunion. I was honored to have been able to serve as a Staff Officer at our Academy...fulfilling the role of a counselor and drill instructor. I appeared on the television show Speeders for 7 episodes. I spoke on live TV with Governor Schwarzenegger and a lot of other fun experiences.
Life is great. I'm married, have two dogs, and great family around me all the time. I hope your lives have been as blessed as mine. It has been an awesome ride for me since 1992. Hopefully we can all make it in 2022for our 30th reunion.
