Kurt's Story
Life
I was born in Pueblo, CO, on August 4th, 1979. I grew up on my families ranch in Beulah Colorado. After Graduating from Pueblo South High in 1998, I accepted a job with the U.S. Bureau of Land Management as a wildland firefighter. I traveled around the United States battling forest fires during the summers. During the off season I attended the University of Southern Colorado on a fullride Hanson Scholoraship, pursuing a B.S. degree in Biology. Engineer for the fire department and perform Emergency Medical Services and 911 dispatch for law enforcement and fire entities. I love my job and currently getting ready to test for several larger municipalities and also for the federal government again. Hope to find the right woman soon and start a family somewhere near the mountains. I'm also planning on obtaining a B.S. degree now in either Fire Safety/Prevention or Business Management. I would eventually like to own and operate my own fleet of fire apparatus to contract out to state and federal governments.
