Robert W.'s Story
Life
After High School, I joined the US Army. I served as a helicopter mechanic in Germany for 2 years.
Returned home in June '61, entered Wentworth Institute in fall 61.
With Assoc. Degree in hand, went
to work for Westinghouse in Baltimore, MD in June 1963. Left there in Nov 1964 to work for IBM
in Fishkill, NY. After 8 years as a process engineer, switched to
computer programming.
Got married in 1966, had a daughter in 1970, got divorced in 1980, took early retirement in 1992.

t a lady from CA. Angela and I got together in 1995, married in 1998,moved to Gardnerville, NV in Jan 1999.
We were enjoying retirement and
the local casinos when Angela was
diagnosed with lung cancer in Feb 2003. She went thru the chemo and surgery, then found out the cancer
had spread to her brain. In early
Feb 2004, she could no longer take care of herself. She lingered
at home until Apr 6, 2004 when she
died.
Don't know what comes next, but I'll stay here in Nevada, it's a good place to be.
