Robert's Story
Life
I am living in Florida N.Y. a small town in upstate New York. Lived in Virginia from 1979 to 1989 where I was a physical education / Health teacher..moved back to N.Y. and went into my wifes family business..did that for ten years, but decided my heart was really in teaching and have been teaching for the last seven years. I teach physical education in the high school setting during the school year and adaptive physical education in the summer. My wife Karen and I met at Brockport and were married in 79. Two children Brittany 23 and Robert 19. Karen is a school nurse teacher for Orange Ulster BOCES and works with emotionally handicaped chidren. Karen and I have completed our master program in special education and graduated from CCNY in January 2003! My interest are cooking for family and friends, golfing as much as possible, playing basketball, lying on the beach on hot sunning days, watching the Bills on Sundays, and drinking cold beer!Get back to the Buffalo area a couple of times a year to visit my dad who sold our home in East Eden and is now living in Hamburg. ot had much contact with fellow high school classmates over the years.. Would love to hear from fellow classmates..we had a great class!! Do stay in touch with several classmates from Brockport and especially those from my rugby days with the Doggies! See Stoney ocassionally and after a night in Lake Lazzern with his family in August we made the trip to Saranac Lake for the Can Am Rugby tournament. Did not play even though there was an over 45 Doggie team entered...maybe next year? Partied with Stoney, Cush, Rusto, Randy, Trops, Joe Brewer, Chuck Curtain, among others! Randy and Joe even brought up the Loose Ruck Inn Bar which brought back many memories! Did make it again this past August and had a great time. The saturday night get together at Randy's RV was priceless. Saranac Lake is such a beautiful area and Karen and I really enjoy the trip up each year.
