Robert's Story
Life
Well I finally left the area and Joined the Marines! I served with Combat Engineers in Philippines and participated in contingency ops in the Republic of Panama during "Operation Just Cause" as an EOD expert & terrorist techniques. I then went to Kuwait and participated in "Operation Desert Shield & Desert Storm" in the Emirates of Kuwait then Iraq. I was an explosives expert and breached many mine fields during the effort. Then I changed jobs in Marines and went into Counter-Intelligence. I participated in JTF missions in Texas, Mexico, and Grand Canyon. Trained at Quantico Va, with FBI and qualified expert with all types of weapons. Did training at Navy Marine Intelligence Training Center in Damn Neck, Va. After that I trained at CIA, and received a certification as an Overseas Counter Intelligence Specialist. Then I was Discharged in 1995 after two tours in the military. I have a 17 year old son Joshua who lives with me during the summer. I am now a Certified Baker and a Certified Locksmith. Yes, I am a Jack-of-All Trades you could say. I have traveled all over the world and have seen and have done many things! I was living in Colrain/Shelburne Falls, Ma. for about 5 years and ran a full shop Locksmith business! ck home and am now starting over as I am now single. At 39, This seems sort of redundant and even harder to do, you know, starting over. I forgot how things are suppose to go. But for now I am going back to writing! I am actually going to try writing a novel with the selling rights for a movie. If all goes well, look out Stephen King!? Now, This will be a challenge as I don't do this type of writing, as I am more of a poet! As I would love to get into speech writing for a living, I have no patience for actually typing or writing to say the least. As my father is now a Famous Painter, I would like to say my art consists of little sayings of verse as my art form. His art is visual as mine is both visual but also livable by everyone who reads my poetry. As a published author/poet I seem to remember how much I dreaded school, and most of you probably don't remember me much nor did you care to. That is because I hardly showed up. I only wish I could have known you all personally and on the same wave length if ya know what I mean! Most of you do not recognize me anymore and some do but don't know what to say. Well, I do the same I guess. I hope the next time we see each other we both say hi and catch up. Because I am sure we are not the same people we were 17 years ago!
