Robert White:  

Military Major Robert T. White is currently the commander of the 66 Comptroller Squadron at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA. He is 36 years old and married to the former Miss Brooke Elaine MetCalf. After graduating high school, Major White moved to Raleigh, NC and attended NCSU. Major White was commissioned on 21 Dec 93 in the USAF. He entered active duty on 25 Feb 94 and attended Financial Services school at Sheppard AFB, TX. He earned the honor of Distinguished Graduate. His first assignment was to Seymour Johnson AFB, NC as the Financial Services Officer. In Aug 95 he attended Financial Analysis School at Sheppard AFB, TX. Upon completion of the course he was reassigned to the budget office at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC as a Budget Officer. During his tenure, Major White served a tour at Riyadh, SA as the Comptroller in charge of a 7 person finance office. There he was responsible for a successful close-out and the initial financial support for the relocation of the 4404th Wing (P) from Dhahran, SA to Prince Sultan AB (PSAB), SA. During this assignment he was recognized as the squadron’s Company Grade officer (CGO) of the Year. Major White’s next assignment began in Nov 96. He as the Comptroller Plans Officer assigned to HQ USAFE/FM, Ramstein AB, Germany. During this assignment he was recognized as the directorate CGO of the Quarter. His next assignment was to the Financial Management staff of 9th Air Force, US Central Command Air Forces, Shaw AFB, SC in Oct 98 as the Budget Officer. During this assignment Major White supervised 2 civilians, oversaw a budget of $1 billion, developed war plans, and directed operations in Southwest Asia (SWA) for 7 locations and 40 deployed personnel.
