Robert's Story
Life
I graduated from Ohio State in 1968 with a degree in Music Education. I taught school for 1 year in Lorain Ohio. I learned very quickly that teaching a subject is very different than the subject itself. Teaching was not for me. I got hired by Wright Patterson in 1970. They wanted 600 computer programmers and were willing to train. I have been programming ever since. I moved to Sunnyvale, CA in 1977 to work for Control Data Corp. king for Lockheed. I am now in forced early retirement. I met and married my wife Sharon in 1982 and have a son and a daughter. There are many opportunities for amateur musicians here.
