Roberta's Story
I graduated from Big Bear High with goals and high hopes for the future. I went to Dental assistant school with 3 of my classmates. Patsy Garlow, Linda Mcdougald and Bonnie Schaeffer. We had a great time and all graduated in Feb, 1960. Instead of going to work as a dental assistant and Living with Patsy and Linda my parents had other plans. went to work in Ventura at The Califonia State parks moving our family to Ventura.
I married in Dec 1961. WE had three daughters and moved to Arizona in 1968 and in 1969 moved to Alaska. WE were divoced in 1984 and I have never remarried. I stayed in Alaska until May 2008. I am currently living in Yakima,wa near my sister and middle daughter and 3 grandsons.
I have been blest with 11 grandchildren and four great grandchidren.
