*NEW* Just started a new business: PET SITTING! Took it over from a friend...do overnight stays as well as "drop-ins". My mother always told me I could have my own menagerie when I moved out of the house! Now I have my own virtual menagerie....without all the muss, fuss, worries and expense!

MOVED!!!! After 10 years living in the same house on an acre and a quarter we sold. Moved 3-8-12, stayed with our daughter for 3 weeks then moved into the "new" house 3-28-12. Signed the contract on a Sunday and took possession the next Friday. Talk about a fast close!!! Smaller house - but NO LAWNS!! No $300 water bills anymore and taxes are less than half!! Not as close anymore to my 2 shopping hubs: Cactus & Tatum and Tatum & Shea. WAAAAAAH!! Living near...Expand for more

I married my high school sweetheart, Ron Wise in 1959. We were still "wet behind the ears"! We had 5 wonderful children. Our oldest son, Tim, passed away at the age of 28 due to Hodgkin's Disease complications. We have 8 grandchildren now but are not GREAT grandparents yet - WHEW!!
The last few summers we actually got out of the Phoenix heat for 2 months by staying at Lake Tahoe. Coming back to Phoenix in September was like re-awakening from a coma - where was the intense inferno?
Stayed at a friend's beautiful cabin in Groom Creek during the summer of 2010 and again now in 2011. Hope we can stay there again THIS summer!
I've inserted my "Now" picture taken June 5, 2010. Came across my junior picture a couple of years ago for my "Then" picture. What a geek!
