Life I ended up switching from my music major to art in my third year of college; graduated with a B.F.A. (majoring in Advertising and Graphic Design) and received a minor in Marketing. I landed a job in Advertising (L.A./South Bay Area)shortly after graduation. Yes, the work was great, the money good and I still managed to play my flute-mostly jazz- with a copywriter friend (he played guitar) on our lunch breaks down at the beach. I eventually got married to a long time college friend, continued to work in Advertising (at a different company in Orange County), gave birth to two boys (three years apart),and kept up the same pace of work until 1993,when we moved to New Jersey. Here in New Jersey we are surrounded by trees, ponds, lakes and clean air...truly beautiful. I decided that I wanted to actually 'see' my boys grow up, so I started my own company "another bright IDEa,prod." I worked from my home, You may say I was "art for hire";I did graphic and advertising design, marker comps,murals and any other art that pays, along with my own fine art. In 2004 I gave up the design work and focused on my fine art only. The subject of my art usually comes from my dreams...so... it is often narrative.
