Roberta's Story
Life
I went by the name Bobbie Palagi. My last name is now Smith -- much easier to spell but not as interesting.
After graduation, I attended the U. of Montana and finished college in Omaha where I worked for United Air Lines until I had my first son. We moved to Lenexa, Kansas (KC metro. area) 24 years ago. I'm a retired paralegal and now do some freelance writing, a lot of exercising, and a lot of reading. (If anyone wants to discuss books, please E-mail me.) I also joined Toastmasters to help conquer my lifelong fear of public speaking. (Arnie Thorson gave me a C in POD because I'd never talk in class.)

alagi) died l4 years ago, and my mother (Vi) moved to KC two years ago after she broke her hip.
We have two sons. The youngest lives in KC, and my oldest son lives in London. We visited there last month and saw our l8 month old grandchild (Lily) for the second time. They are expecting another child next May. It took us a long, long time to have grandchildren so why do they have to be on another continent?
I keep in touch with Inta Marcus (now Nielsen) who lives in Omaha and is a retired teacher and Diane Brundage (Schlosser) who lives in California and is very ill.
