Robin's Story
The wildest thing I did in school was drinking way too much before a football game and getting caught by being escorted out by Winter Haven's finest police, being taken to the police station and my mom picking me up. OUCH.
I blow off steam by exercising. I have really grown to love swimming, running and biking. Of course a cold beer helps too!
I attended college in a non traditional fashion. I didn't start college until I was 30 and graduated with my Master's at 35. It was a tough 5 years competing with kids 10 to 15 years younger than I and competing for the same job with a Big Six ...Expand for more
(at the time) Accounting Firm - but I did it!
When I was in high school I was bored and was probably viewed as a slacker...... what might surprise everyone is that I am a highly educated professional, a CPA and have family and community friends that I value. I guess that's called growing up!
Never really liked the tucked in look.... also highwaisted stuff felt too constrictive. I like the hip huggers of the past and still wear them.
My first job was at Disney, where I got paid $3 per hour to sell popcorn. What I remember most about it is the Magical Parade every night twice a night!.
