Robin's Story
Hi everyone. I just wanted to catch you all up on my life for the past 30 years.
After high school I went to Tyler Tx for college. That lasted only one year. My uncle the preacher sent me home when I didn't stay the nice shy little girl.(partied quite a bit). I came back to Bakersfield and ran into my boyfriend from high school's sister. She gave me his phone number and I called him, 4 months later we got married and have been married ever since. After I got married I worked in the retail field off and on for 20 years taking time off occasionally to be with our son. Then in 2000 I decided to go to cosmetology school. I have been doing hair for the last 8 years. I work in Oildale at a salon called Flaunt It Salon& Boutique. In 2008 I got divorced, after 30 years of marriage. I now have a wonderful man in my life. This past summer I quit doing hair, but now I'm working at Harding Elementary School in the cafeteria. I absolutely love it.
