Robin's Story
Life
After high school I worked full time in Decatur while taking evening classes at Richland. Graduated in 1990 with an AA. Moved to Bloomington and started working for and attending ISU. I graduated with a double major in Art and Archaeology in 1996. I will have worked for ISU 12 years in October.
I'm a program coordinator for the Connections Project here at ISU, it's a grant funded through the state board. Yes I'm one of those people that my career doesn't match my degree. :)
The car you see in my "now" photo was my pride and joy for 2 years. A 1963 Corvair. I had wanted one for 10 years when I finally found this one for sale in D...Expand for more
ecatur. Unfortunately I totaled it in October of '98. My second 63 Corvair is in the shop and hopefully coming home soon.
Marriage and Kids? I was always extremely leary of marriage and I really didn't want kids so I broke down and adopted a puppy instead. :) 1/2 yellow lab and 1/2 samoyed, she's 7 years old now and my second one is 2 1/2. She's 1/2 golden & bloodhound and her nickname is Mayhem.
Hobbies? Boating, reading, movies, writing, drawing, computers, video gaming. Favorite tv shows: Battlestar Galactica (new), Firefly, Jericho, Stargate SG-1 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
Not much else going on, working and playing. *grin*
