Robin's Story
Life
Since I graduated from Glencoe I attended OSU for a while, moving back home to attend PCC. I spent 7 years (2000- 2007) working for Xerox Managed Services in Hillsboro at Intel and Sun Microsystems, before becoming a stay at home mom. In 2016 I started working in the lunchroom where my kids go to school. I am now their Child Nutrition Director. Besides cooking, I take care of all the food ordering and the mounds of paperwork that comes with the job. I got married September 2005 to my high school sweetheart Brandon. We currently reside in Cornelius. In 2022 my family made the tough decision to sell all 300 of our dairy cattle, ending 7 generations of milking cows. The land is still...Expand for more
being farmed. We have 2 horses, 2 dogs, 6 ducks, 2 geese, a cat who thinks she is a dog, an Indian Ringneck Parrot named Purple Chicken, a rabbit, and a fish. Brandon has been a master service tech for Doherty Ford since 2006. He helps out at his family farm in his spare time. He also gets in hunting, fishing, clamming, and crabbing.
We have two kids, a girl and a boy.
My activities include 4-H Dairy Cattle Superintendent for the Washington County Fair and the Oregon State Fair, and leader of the Kids 'N' Kalves 4-H Dairy Club. I am also involved with the Washington County and Oregon State Dairy Women's groups. I also help out at my in law's beef, custom hay and Christmas Tree Farm.
