Robin's Story
Life
My life has been blessed since graduating from High School. I married my husband, Brian, 13 years ago and we have two wonderful kids. My oldest, a boy, Cameron, is five and just started Kindergarten this fall. He is a "spitting image" of my side of the family. He has dark hair and big brown eyes. My daughter, Preslie, almost two, looks more like her daddy than me. She has dark blonde hair and big beautiful blue eyes.
I enjoy every moment I spend with my kids! I never knew how much I would love to be a mom! (I can't wait till the day they play competetive sports!!! :)
On the career front, I feel like I was in school forever! I received my BA from St. Martin's University in 1995, and then went on to persue my Master's Degree in Teaching. I finished my Master's in 2001, thank god! Good timing, though, especially since my husband and I waited eight years to have kids. I knew that I would have to put my career on hold a bit to raise them, and I didn't want to have to split the time I spent with my children, to get through school! That is ok with me, I am just glad to have finished my schooling before having my family. I can't eve...Expand for more
n imagine doing both at the same time!!
I currently live in the Puyallup/Frederickson area. We moved here from Lacey a little over a year ago. I lived in Lacey the 7 years prior, while going to school.
I spend my free-time with my family, and still enjoy playing sports. After playing volleyball and fast-pitch in college, I continued to stay involved with sports, in some way or another, throughout the years. I knew I would not be able to cut that part of my life out entirely! I just loved it so much!
As for my sister, I am sure you were wondering, she lives in Lacey. She has two girls, 3yrs & 7yrs, and is married. She received her BA in Education in 1996, and is currently substitute teaching while her kids are young. She is doing well, and I see her quite frequently- shocker!
Anyways, I thought I would share a little of my last 16 years, "in a nut shell." I can't believe so much time has gone by! Soon, the next reunion will be here, and there will be more life to share.
Well, I guess I will end for now. I hope all is well with the rest of our class, and that life is everything that is hoped for.
Take Care,
Robin
