Robin's Story
Workplace:
I am currently in the Office of Chief Counsel for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission.
I previously worked for the Internal Revenue Service, City of Austin and City of Houston. I first met Bill White when interning in the Houston Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities.
My essay on the importance of people with disabilities being meaningfully included throughout the entire political process is among many contributions included in 'What we think: Young voters speak out' (2004). Board of Young Democrats of America Disabilities Caucus. I presented at the 2022 Hydrocephalus Association Conference in Austin, Texas.
I served on the Mayor's Committee for People with Disabilities and was the MCPD Delegate to the Joint Inclusion Committee which helps advise the City of Austin Equity Office and Office for Civil Rights. I was a member of the State Bar of Texas Disability Issues Committee.
College:
Graduated from Texas Woman's University with a BS (2001) and MA (2005). I hold certificates in leadership (2020) management (2021) and paralegal (2022) from Austin Community College.
