Robin's Story
Life
After graduation from High School, I immediately went to work to take a break from 12 years of school. I eventually joined the military (see my military bio) where I met and married my husband of 18 years, Joseph. We have two children, a son who is 17 and graduates from HS June 2008, and a daughter who just turned 13, as well as 3 cats. Since graduation I have lived in Germany, North Dakota, Massachusetts, Oklahoma and back to Texas. I now work for the Federal Government as a Civilian Personnelist (and I love every minute of what I do). I wouldn't change anything about my life.
School
My schooling started in Minnesota where I attended 3 elementary schools. We moved to Georgia and I attended 5th grade in Americus, 6th grade and part of 7th grade in Clarkston (just outside of Atlanta). was on to Crockett High School for 9th grade, Round Rock High School for my Sophomore year and because I lived on the "other side of the tracks" it was off to the new school, Westwood High School for my Junior and Senior years. I graduated in 1983 from Westwood High School.
Workplace
My first job was working at Godfather's Pizza while still in school. I moved on to retail the summer before my senior year and worked in retail for 2 more years, before moving to Lubbock TX. There I found a job as a clerical/file clerk in the Radiology Dept of St. Mary's Hospital. I left St. Mary's to join the military, I left the military in 1994 and have worked for the federal government (different agencies) ever since. I have held primarily Human Resources positions. I have worked for the Dept of the Air Force, the Defense Contract Audit Agency, the Dept of the Army, the Veterans Administration and most recently back to the Dept of the Air Force.
