Robyn's Story
Life
My Spouse
He was my boss when I was a 16-year old courtesy clerk at Fred Meyer. He and I are perfectly matched.
My Pets
Nick is 15, Sebastian and Scout are 3. Jake died April 2009 and I miss him the most. Ethan died September 2005 of a stomach tumor after 17 good years. Harley, who was supposed to live forever, died Feburary 2006 at 12 after contracting kitty aids from a feral cat (she won the battle with the cat, but lost the war).
My Job
My current position is Curriculum Developer with Salem-Keizer Public Schools. I still teach online and contract with companies to write or review curriculum. I am working on getting my consulting business going. It's time to use that Ph.D.
Stories:
If I could improve my home, I'd remodel the back and add on a master suite. My dream home would be not in Salem.

d in Nova Scotia.
My current age is 41. When I was 12, I thought that people my age now would be old like parents. I was so completely wrong.
My best friend would tell you I'm wonderful, but people who don't know me very well would probably describe me as assertive, cynical and intimidating.
I share my home with Don and the cats, which I find perfect.
In 10 years, I hope to be a well-published author living on an island. I'm going to get there by writing.
My first job was at Fred Meyer, where I was paid $3.65 and hour to throw bottles and cans. What I remember most about it is how much I liked my boss who is my husband now.
I always wanted to be a geologist or medical examiner when I grew up. My family and friends thought that was a dumb idea. As it turns out, they were always wrong about me.
If I'm going to work somewhere, I need to have competent coworkers, a lot of things to do, and authority to be able to deal with the day-to-day.
