Rochelle's Story
Sooooo, I'm supposed to tell my life's story since high school? Wow! Got some coffee & a bunch of time?
I went to college for awhile after leaving high school. Went to Liberty Univ. my first semester, came home, worked for awhile then went on to a Commercial Art School which finally led me into Interior Design. I worked for a couple of companies before meeting my husband, Tim Riddle. He had transfered up to MN from Dallas. We met & then married in July of 1998. (wow, this will be our 10th year anniversary this July! Time flies, doesn't it?) We moved from West Bloomington to Dallas, TX around 2001.
Our little girl was born December 10, 2002. Her name is Ashlyn Hunter Riddle. Our little princess keeps us pretty busy. She is entering kindegarden this fall. Her mommy is going to miss her a lot!!
It's pretty hard being so far from home. MN is such a long way from Texas. However, there's a cowgirl in me somewhere....okay, okay!......the Urban Cowgirl resides within me!!
We moved due to a job change for my husband. He works for Corporate JC Penney's. He loves his job & I love being a stay-at-home Mom!!
We love our Church. We attend Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, TX. You may have heard of our Pastor?....Pastor Chuck (as we call him), otherwise know as Pastor Chuck Swindoll. We are involved in a small church there called "Titus II fellowship". We have learned so much spiritually & have grown so mu...Expand for more
ch in the love & care they have shown in our lives.
When Ashlyn was approx. 1 1/2 years old. I was rushed to the hospital to find out that I was epileptic. (I guess it takes almost dying to start taking the doctors diagnosis serious.) As a family, we have traveled a long & tedious journey with this hardship in our lives. We are so humbled & thankful for those that have walked with us through the stresses that this illness has caused. Titus II has been such a blessing in our lives by bringing in meals, having a game plan for Ashlyn when I am unable to care for her. They have even come in & cleaned my shower!! God has truly blessed us!
I have lost a lot of my long-term memory, but mostly, my short-term memory has been very trying on me. I cannot remember Tim & my courtship, wedding & the most frustrating is the memories of my daughters birth. I have had a couple of Grand Mal seizures that came very close to losing my life. These have caused brain damage in the frontal lobes on both sides of the brain. Please continue to pray that God will protect us & that he will give us the strength to pull through this trial. We continue to get the support we need as time goes by, God has a way of surprising us with the little things....Isn't that just like him?
Well, I would love to get in touch with anyone out there that visits my site. I'm excited to see who will try & reach me & it will be fun catching up!! -Rochelle
