Rod's Story
After graduation from OHHS in 1969, went directly to the Ocean City Beach Patrol as ocean lifeguard for three summers. Graduated from from U. of Md. in 1973 as memeber of Delta Tau Delta social fraternity and Omicron Delta Kappa honorary. Served as police officer awaiting active duty orders as a Commissioned Officer in Marine Corps. Left the Marines after 8 year scholarship commitment as a Captain and went into private consulting practice mostly focusing on Dept of Defense high security technology staffing programs. Obtained a master degree during this time. Rejoined Federal service after 9/11 attacks as Investigator tracking terrorist funding...Expand for more
(Special Agent) and counter terrorism activities worldwide. Have served extensively in the intelligence and national security community for the last 20 years. Now at DHS as Exexutive Program Manager related to national and international security issues. Have wife and three daughters with two in college and another on the way to college in four years. I enjoy current profession and do feel it has importance so no plans to retire until maybe age 80 (next tens years) after all kids out of college. 😅 Hope all of you are well!
