Rod's Story
What a great story I have! I dropped out our high school in 1965 (if my memory serves me). For 4 years I worked at Ashdown's Harware, and then till 1974 I worked for in the Credit Department of Anthes Western. When they closed, I went back to high school getting, my grade 12 and then entered the Faculty of Education at the U of M. I taught at South Indian Lake Manitoba for 9 years. n Mikel was born and in 1994 our twin girls Lauren and Katherine arrived. I taught for the Waterloo Board of Ed from 1987 until I retired in 2006. My wife Diane, who is much younger then I, is a Special Education teacher with the Avon Maitland School Board in the city of Stratford Ontario where we live. Today I am retired. I supply teach and work for the Stratford Shakespeare Festival of Canada as a Membership Representative (telemarketer). So if you have ever been to our theatres you may hear my lovely voice asking you for money.
