Rod's Story
Went to way too many schools. You'll recognize a name in here somwehere:
Nunaka Valley, Mays Elementary, Pacheco,
Lynwood, La Tercera, Casa Grande, Crescent Jr. Hi, Don Antonio Lugo, Chino High, Chaffey High, Homestead High, and finally, Florida International University
Moved all over, from Alaska, to Northern California, to Southern California, to Miami throughout the school days. Got my degree in physics in Miami, and then became an air traffic controller because I was tired of being poor.
Moved back to the bay area in '86 and stayed until my marriage broke up.

Germany for a few years to work with the german government on the same thing.Used to joke that we were trying to bring their system into the 20th century. Now the jokes on us, as our system is stuck in the 20th century.
Came back to DC for a year and decided I couldn't take the politics (it's truly a strange place inside the beltway) and returned to the Bay Area again. Rejoined the FAA and have been controlling air traffic since then.
I enjoy sportscar racing at our local venues, stargazing, camping, mountain bike riding (not extreme), hiking, and when someone invites me, sailing and scuba-diving.
Hope to hear from some of you at some time, whether we were friends or not back in the day.
