Rod's Story
Graduated HS in '64, marched with Sky Ryders D&B from '59 through '65, went to Hutch Juco, worked at Cessna and drove a truck at same time. Moved to Casper, WY in '66 to march with Troopers D&B, finished at Hutch Juco in '67 and left the Hutch area to go to Wyoming. Joined WY National Guard in '67, discharged in '73, marched and worked on the staff of the Troopers from '66 to '74. U of Wyoming in '71, taught in Riverton, WY till '73 then moved to the Casper area to teach mathematics and retired from teaching in '01. Throughout the teaching I was also working as a truck driver parttime. I now own a semi-tractor and operate it as a lease/operator for a local fuel hauling company based in the Casper area, we haul a 4 state Rocky Mtn area. I also officiate high school football, basketball, juco basketball (for the past 40 yrs) and an indoor pro football league (for the past 10 yrs).
