Rodney Roy:  

I was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area. I visited my grandparents in Michigan during my summer vacations while growing up. I joined the Mormon Church when I was 17 and then later moved to Boise Idaho when I was 21. I had always struggled with inner feelings but with family and friends the pressure was to great. Shortly after my move I met my son's mother and got married in the Boise Temple. My son Daniel was literally an answer to my prayers. He is my pride and joy and means everything to me. My son is number one in my life and whoever I am with will need to accept that and also support that. After my divorce I started to deal with the feelings I had been struggling with most of my life. I came out to some of my friends and family, including my mother. When I finally moved to Montana I had decided I was finally going to live my life as the person I really am... I am a caring, compassionate individual who often will put my needs and desires on the back burner to bring peace and happiness to a relationship. However I find that putting my needs or desires on the back burner does not bring me happiness, so finding someone who can allow me to balance these things with their own needs and desires is the ultimate goal.
