Rodrigo's Story
Attended St. Augustine from kindergarten to 3rd grade. Left in 1969 when in the 3rd grade. Did not graduate. Had Ms. Jones as one of my teachers. Best teacher ever! ling us about Japanese traditions. After that she had made arrangements for us to go on a field trip to the Japanese Village where I bought a nice pair of chopsticks and practiced at home while eating.
Interesting enough, little did I know that one day I would put some of that Japanese information and chopstick training to good use on my many visits to Japan during my military career. Every time I pick up a pair of chopsticks, it reminds me of Ms. Jones. Here's to you Ms. Jones...SIMPLY THE BEST TEACHER EVER!
