Rogelio's Story
Life
Since school I joined the military, traveled around for a while, and then decided to settle down. I've been a police officer for the past eight years now and can't imagine what I was thinking when I started. Eight years of messed up images, dealing with other peoples problems and then picking up the pieces. And, thats on a good day. Actually I still enjoy and take pride in the job my fellows and I struggle to do. I like the job (mostly) and look forward (usually) to each day.

tional Police force. Its been an interesting experience over the past year. I look forward to coming back to my family in the next 4 months. Since I have been here my son was born. He is now 7 months old and a wonderful bundle of biting and drooling fun, though I think my wife would sometimes disagree. I can't wait to get home.
I have only fond memories of high school now. (I imagine I blocked all the awkward social moments out though.) I'm glad they were not the best years of my life, since that would mean I had nothing to look foward to. They were good years.
