Roger's Story
Left Skokie in June 1966 right after graduation and moved with family to Houston, Texas. Went to UT Austin (I started within 2 weeks after Charles Whitman shot all those people from the Texas Tower-great intro!!). Got an BBA in 1970 and MBA in 1971 and am a huge Longhorn fan (they actually won football games unlike our Trojans, what a concept!). Started in the food industry and have been in it since. Worked in Dallas and Houston until 1979 when I took a transfer to LA. Worked in LA, San Diego, back to LA until 1988 when my company was acquired. Started my ow...Expand for more
n foodservice business in 1989 and just celebrated 20 years. Married in 1981, Robin and I have 2 wonderful girls, Michelle (36, UCLA, Arcadia University-Doctorate PT) and Jamie (34, UC Davis, UC Berkeley - Masters Education) and our 2nd dog, a beautiful granddaughter Ella, 2 yrs. old. Our 2nd dig Gracie (from Kazakhstan-really) is 15 yrs old. Still a die hard Cub fan and Bear fan. Been to Cubs fantasy camp twice-for my 60th and 65th birthdays. Life is good, all is well, I have been blessed. Now if the world can only straighten itself out ( I like to dream)
