Roger's Story
Life
OK after graduation in 69 I spent 2 years in USMC. Came back to T-town, worked (at Bushline) and was generally headed at about 100 mph down the wrong road (nuttin but trouble). Had enough and enlisted in the Navy in 74. Met and married a wonderful Lady that helped me put my life on a even keel. Spent the next 18 years traveling around the world, did the complete circle of the earth. Too many countries and cities to name all. Retired in 92 onboard USS America CV-66. Came...Expand for more
back to Illinois sunk down some roots and here I be. I try to make it back to Claiborne county every year. My 2 children and all my relatives are still in and around the area. I'm currently employed as a custodian, maintenance, bus driver and whatever else... in a small school with 104 wonderful children and love every minute of it. I believe that if what you are doing isn't fun and you don't love it.. Well it's time for you to move on. Life is good.
