Roger's Story
Retired from the US Public Health Service in 1997 as a Commander, worked for WA Dept of Health until 2011 and then completely retired. Married to Beverly Bell since 1981 with two sons.
The older, Chris, is married to a Turkish woman and they now live in Seattle where he is in a UW masters/PhD program and his wife, Duygu, is a PhD student in theater at the UW. The younger, Patrick, got his ME from UW and teaches at Juanita HS and is married to Stacey, a CPA..

My wife, Bev, also retired from the USPHS, but as a rank higher than me, a captain. She was an OTR by training, got a masters in psych and now has a private practice.
I received my BSN from WSU in 1997 and MSN from UW in 1982. Spent almost 7 years in the Air Force from 1967-1974, and then went to WSU for my BSN. Graduated in 1997 and was commissioned in the USPH. Got my MN in 1982.
