Roger Sides:  

Life I left Frenship Jr. High in Feb.'65 in the 6th grade and enrolled in Pahranagat Valley Elementary in Alamo, Nevada. I was there through 10th grade and moved to Caliente, Nev. and finished high school at Lincoln Co. High in Panaca,Nev. in 1971. The following year I attended Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City to study machine tool technology. I got married in Nov. '73 and stayed that way until early 2000, when it just didn't work out anymore. I did have a great son and daughter who are doing well on their own, though. I moved to Tempe, AZ in July '74 and worked in the area for 5 years before moving to the White Mtns. where I've been at the same job for the last 29 years. I'd taken a number of years off from playing music to have time for my family and career to grow a bit, but started playing with several different bands over the years here on weekends. One group I played with appeared on stage with country stars Eddie Raven and Skip Ewing. Sure was fun! I don't play much anymore, but it is still fun, occasionally.My winter weekends are now spent as a ski instructor at Sunrise Park near my home in Show Low.
