Roger's Story
Well, since leaving LO, I moved to California, Florida, Colorado, Idaho were I went to school, then back to Seattle where I grew up, Then moved back to Beaverton for a few months and Started Sylvan Learning Centers, Corp. there in Sylvan, OR. with the founder W. Barry Fowler. We relocated the business to Bellevue, Washington. We went public in 1986 and sold it to Kindercare Inc. in 1987, from there I went back to school at BYU in UT and got a double major in Geography, GIS, and Environmental Geology, so I have something in common with Bob Coe. Married to Deborah Ann Deason, of BHAM, AL. She is an RN,MSN. I was CEO of Common Knowledge Int'l Inc. in Sandy Utah, and am currently taking it easy as GM of Sears Service and Repair Center.
Deborah and I have 3 Children Eric Ryan, who passed away in 2008 from Colon Cancer age 31, Clayton Bane is married to Danielle and has twin son and daughter, and another daughter. Katie Jean is married to Jeffrey Dixon and has 4 children. Eric never married. Deborah and I will be celebrating our 40th anniversary December 2015 and grow more in love everyday.
