roger's Story
It has been a great journey!
I became a high school and community college teacher. I transferred to Long Beach State after 2 years at Long Beach City College. I worked for the Y.M.C.A. and decided I wanted to be a school teacher after my active duty in the Army (National Guard). It was a good choice for me and I started teaching at Long Beach State while working on my teaching certificate. Upon completion of a second major and my credential, I began teaching in Lompoc, CA...Expand for more
.
I went back to school and received my M.A. It allowed me to teach part-time at the community college. I finished my teaching as a part-time teacher and department coordinator at Hancock Community College in Santa Mara, CA. It was 35 good years as a teacher.
I enjoy home projects, trips to the beach, and my 3 children and 6 grandchildren. I am a single man and live in Lompoc. The city has been a part of my life for many years and it is comfortable for me.
Aloha, Roger
