Rolando's Story
Life
Well, as most of you know I'm in the military and have been now for 7 years. I'm what you would call a professional Soldier. Since I left Erie in 02 I have been through a lot. I have been to Iraq for 13 months, been to Kuwait for 4 and to Djibouti, Africa for 7 months. My wife (of 4 yrs) has been with me through it all. We have a three year old angel and she is my everything. Since I left Erie I have seen more and been through more. It helped me discover who I am and what I can do best. more then daughter and wife. I'm also repsonsible for nine Soldier and making sure they make it home in one piece. After being in Iraq, being in Africa is a walk in the park. The only difficult thing is the staying away from my family. The up side is that I have an understanding family and they are willing to support me no matter what. Therefore I am grateful that I have come a long way and will proceed to succeed in what I do best. Now those are just a couple of the things that I have done with my life so far.
