Rolf's Story
Rolf's schools include University High School. He later attended Augsburg College, Luther Theological Seminary and the University of Minnesota. Rolf is retired. He works(ed) at State of Minnesota for 25 years (Research, Communications and Volunteer Programming). Prior to that, he worked in Glacier National Park, MT for the GPI Park Concession - 1975, 77-80, as a bellman, managing a Coffee Shop and as Musical Director for summer stock theater as well as organizing an orchestra for classical evening performances; For the National Park Service (1981-1985), he worked as a Seasonal Ranger (as a Hot...Expand for more
shot - fire & rescue - and Resource Management Ranger) and as a volunteer on a special project. Those were the exciting years.
He is currently on the Board of the Glacier Park Foundation, a retired 10-year member of the Parks and Planning Commissions for the City of Lake Elmo, MN, a historical contributor for 'FRESH', the weekly online newsletter for the city's online variety publication, and a musician (oboe).
Family includes a wonderful wife, three children, and five grandchildren.
