Karen's Story
Went back to the R.V. lifestyle, seems we are nomads.
New plan is to spend 5 mo. In Durango Colorado with 7 Grandchildren.
Five months in Arizona and two in Idaho, two grandchildren. Still mountain biking, hiking until I can't do it anymore....someone said follow your dreams ......and that is my story.
Hope we have another get together soon, we where sorry we had to miss the last one, with the loss of my son Clint Alan Souza we where just not up to going. Life moves on and things do get better I have the best memories a mom could ever have as Alan lived with me to the great age of 30,i was 50and he was my best friend and bike rider. r made 100, he did. Alan saved (5) lives his heart is in Southern California the other organs are in OR, AZ and CA, I have heard from all the recipients, they are doing wonderful. Wow he lives on.in so many.
I do work with the Donor network, I am an Ambassador and I give speeches all over the state of California. Please if you can get a pink dot and mark number 7 at DMV or on line. Why not, saving lives is a great thing. One boy now plays football because of my son and his pancreas, no signs of diabetes anymore.
