Ron's Story

Life I've been many places and done quite a few things since my graduation. I divorced as I left the military and raised my son who now lives in Denver, CO. I never remarried. I've been there and done that. I've had a ball doing it and won't stop until the MAN calls. Life is good and there's a lot of it to do and see. I can hardly wait for tomorrow. Life is always an adventure. School I had too much fun in High School and WAY too much fun in College. Growing up is a great adventure and school made it unforgetable. College College was one of the biggest disappointments in my life. I definitely had fun with the extra curricular activities but college itself was boring. I chose a curriculum and was moved to another curriculum without being told. I complained and they told me they would only refund a small percentage of my money. I drove on and finally dropped out from frustration after 2 quarters. I never went back. Workplace What's there to say about my work? I've done a lot of everything. I'm mechani...Expand for more
cally inclined and work like a fool so I entered the oil fields after getting bored with factory life at Whirlpool. I escaped Louisianna and went to Houston where I worked my way up from tire buster to store manager. I went on to manage another store then chose the mechanic field. I entered the army and when I left I worked in a dealership doing air conditioning and electrical. I left that to enter the construction field and finally gave it up a in 2002. I now work at whatever and am retired without a pension. I play with work now. Military Life was boring so I entered the army at the tender age of 27. I had a job so I told the recruiter I wanted something different. He sure gave me something different. I joined to be an Airborne Ranger and after many months of qualification I made it. I was assigned to Charlie Company, First Platoon, 1st/75th Ranger Battalion in Savannah, Georgia. I went through Ranger School after 8 months at the Battalion. I miss that more than I can say. I can only say that I wish I was still there.
